What is orthodontic treatment, and who is it for?

Orthodontic treatment uses dental appliances to gradually move teeth into a neat, well-aligned position with a correct bite. Beyond looks, well-aligned teeth are easier to clean — lowering the risk of decay, gum inflammation and long-term chewing problems.

A specialist orthodontist assesses your X-rays and your actual bite, then chooses the appliance that suits your case. Treatment usually takes 1.5–3 years.

How long does treatment take?

Usually 1.5–3 years, depending on how complex the case is, the appliance chosen, and keeping to your appointments. Patients who attend every visit on time often finish sooner.

Do braces hurt?

You may feel tight or find chewing awkward for the first 2–3 days after fitting and after each adjustment, then it eases. Soft food is recommended during that time.

How much do braces cost? Can I pay in instalments?

From 38,000 THB for metal braces, 80,000–120,000 THB for Damon/ceramic, and 90,000–200,000 THB for Invisalign. 0% instalments are available up to 10 months via participating credit cards.

Does every case need extractions?

Not always — it depends on the space in the jaw and how much the teeth protrude. The orthodontist assesses this from your X-rays and tells you before starting.

Can I get adjustments at another branch?

Yes. Your records are shared across all 14 branches — let us know in advance to book with an orthodontist at that branch.
